Fashion For Life

Fashion for Life (formerly Relay for Life by Nevar Lobo) kicked off yesterday and is now in full swing. As in previous years I am participating with 4 donation items with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society.

The event runs from March 12th til March 26th. There are over 200 designers spread across 9 sims offering everything from clothes and shoes to hair and skins. There are some really lovely things to be had and all in support of a fantastic cause. The organizers have put an amazing effort into the event this year.

This year the theme is Beyond Black and White. This translates into a lot of designer’s items as well as the sim builds themselves, each of which is unique in design and entirely black and white. You can find Riddle on the Bourke White sim sponsored by Elikatira.

First up, Spring Has Sprung is a flirty little spring dress in fun patterns. The two dresses pictured above are part of my ACS donation and are available exclusively at Fashion For Life. I’ve also released two other patterns which you can find at the event which are not donation related.

Spring Has Sprung comes on all available layers and includes a sculpted skirt with attached belt.

Additionally I’ve donated a set of my corduroy pants in spring colors. These come in sets of 3 as pictured above and are the same pants available in the main store just in different colors. As with the dresses these are currently available only at Fashion For Life.

Every year this event just keeps getting better and better. This year the team has done everything within their power to make your shopping experience as fun and lag free as possible. They’ve also added some fun features such as a hunt and each sim has it’s own gacha area.

Pure Juice

Just a quick post with some info about a couple of new releases I have debuting at the Pure Juice event. Pure Juice is a collaboration between the Juicy sims and CHIC Management. They’ve teamed up to create a fantastic event featuring tons of amazing designers. All of the items you can find here are available only at the Pure Juice venue. There’s a little bit of everything and almost definitely something to suit every taste. You can find everything from loads and loads of adorable clothes and gorgeous skins to funky makeup, furniture and prefabs! The event runs from March 5th til March 26th and is not to be missed.

I’ve been wanting to bring sort of a more trendy feel to my next collection– something a little more funky and interesting since I’ve done a lot of sweaters and cozy things during winter. For my items I’ve created the lace dresses and leather pants pictured above. The dresses include a sculpted mini skirt prim as well as the dress on all layers. They feature a lace overlay with ruffled trim and are just the right length to wear either as a dress or a tunic over pants. The pink color will be 100% exclusive to Pure Juice!

Leather pants are something I’ve been wanting to do for some time. I think they can be tasteful if you pair them with the right thing and if they’re done right. These skinny pants are done in a graphic alligator leather. I think the alligator gives it an edge. Each pair includes sculpted cuffs (although they look great without them too!) and as always, is available on all layers.

The sheer number of fantastic creators alone makes it an event you don’t want to miss. I found items from some of my old favorites as well as discovered new designers while perusing the racks. As I said previously, Pure Juice is definitely an event not to be missed so stop by and check it out!
