RIDDLE – Fashionably Late

No doubt most people have heard about CHIC Mangement and their plethora of events. Well the lovely ladies from CHIC have decided to open a sim with a selection of shops which have taken part in past events including Riddle. The new sim includes main stores for Peqe, Orion, Bent!, LaPetele, Magoa, Nemesis, Di’s Opera and JustB as well as over a dozen lovely little sattelite shops.

With this new sim comes a new weekly event, Fashionably Late. Fashionably Late features sim residents as well as several guest designers offering up new and exclusive goodies at discount prices. Each week different designers participate so you’ll find a wide assortment of items every session.

This week is the grand opening of the CHIC sim so all residents have been invited to participate. Nearly every designer who has a shop on the new sim has set out some form of new and exclusive item. I’ve created a cute, casual dress for this event. As always this dress comes on all layers and includes a flexi skirt.

Vintage Floral Freebie

I sent a notice to my group last night and made a blog post this morning about a fatpack of vintage floral print tops that is available free of charge from my hippo group. Unfortunately I just found out that the group terminal was completely messed up and no one was able to join. Many apologies for any irritation/frustration/trouble this may have caused. I’ve fixed up the terminal and I thought I’d make a quick post to that effect as well as take a photo of these little free tops since I was unable to do so earlier.

Again, really sorry for any problems anyone had with the silly group terminal. I seem to have a lot of issues every time I send a freebie out to my hippo group so I’d welcome any thoughts or suggestions about the various options available in terms of update groups!

Designer’s Showcase #1

I’ve been asked to participate in a new monthly event called “Designer’s Showcase”. The event features a hand full of designers such as The Secret Store, Hanaya and HOC. The premise is that each item is 100L or less and the best of said designer’s collection. These deeply discounted items will be available for one month then changed out for something new.

Hbox Winter Faire 2009

In the spirit of the season the great people at Harajuku Box are holding a Winter Faire at the newly redesigned club Cura. There’s a selection of designers offering special winter themed items as well as live music and various types of entertainment. The event will be running from December 17th to December 28th so be sure to stop by and check it out!

I’ve created the cute winter coats and snuggly sweater dresses shown above and below especially for this event. Each set includes snowflake print dress on all layers with sculpted collar, sleeves and skirt as well as the plaid coat shown with it, also on all layers with sculpted sleeves, hood and bottom.
