Project Themeory + 50% off on all stock

Riddle is participating in Project Themeory this week with an offering of 5 mesh maxi skirts + cute star printed tops that coordinate. The theme this week is real life to second life with the idea being that participants would take an item from real life and turn it into something in second life. My clothes were inspired by a skirt I found online and a print that I love in real life.

The top and skirt combos are available for just 75L until Sunday at midnight at which time they will be place in the store as seperates for their full price so be sure to stop by and snap them up. If you have yet to try out mesh, this is a cheap opportunity for you to test it out! Please be certain you are using a viewer capable of using mesh before you purchase as there are no refunds. To my knowledge at this point there are several v3 based viewers (LL viewer, Kirsten’s Viewer and Firestorm beta to name a few) and a few old style viewers (Astra and Cool Viewer) that support mesh. As mesh becomes more common place in sl, I will be striving to do more mesh releases.

Also, starting today I am having a my-computer-is-dying-and-screams-in-agony-every-time-I-use-a-v3-based-viewer-so-I-need-a-new-one sale! We’ll call it a 50% off sale for short, much easier to remember xD As of now, all items in the Atomic store are marked down 50%. Fatpacks have also been discounted. Lace Dresses in 9 new colours

I recently received a request to release my lace dress in more colors. Previously this dress was only available in black, white and tan. As pictured above, I’ve gone ahead and created 9 new deep hues. I’ve also updated the fatpack to include these new versions.

Now I also forgot something last time I did a new release, normally Riddle group members receive 50% off all new releases for the first 24hrs. I completely spaced on this with my last release (Beach Time Dresses). Sooo for the next 24hrs group members will receive 50% off the new lace dresses as well as the beach time dresses released last week. Sorry for this over sight!

The Platinum Hunt

CHIC Management is putting on another fantastic event! The Platinum Hunt Deux began today and runs til August 31st. There’s a boatload of really great shops included in this hunt, definitely worth checking out. You can get all the info as well as hints on CHIC’s blog. Mine shouldn’t be too hard to find, a little hint from me: sit down and put your feet up in the main room, there’s coffee and snacks on the table ^^

The full outfit pictured above is my offering for this event. Inside the little tiffany blue box you will find a pair of retro glasses with white stripe detailing in grey, a special version of my unreleased high waisted skirt in black as well as a grey lace detailed mini tank.

Taste of SL Anniversary Hunt

As I mentioned in a previous post, Riddle is taking part in the TOSL one year anniversary hunt. The tunic pictured above is hidden somewhere inside the brand new Riddle main store. This outfit includes sculpted sleeves, shirt puff and belt as well as a flexi skirt. There is also a color and texture change HUD included for the belt allowing you to change both leather texture and color to achieve a ton of different looks.

Riddle goes retro for Culture Shock 2011

The much anticipated CHIC Limited event Culture Shock is now officially under way and there are some really fantastic exclusive items to be had. At this event you’ll find something to suit every taste and fill just about every niche. There are amazing skins, beautiful fashion and unique home furnishings from many of your favorite designers.

Riddle is participating with the exclusive release of the funky retro glasses pictured above and below. These glasses are fully sculpted with a white stripe trim detail around the edges.

These are currently available only at Culture Shock and come in packs of two as pictured.

This event is not to be missed due to the sheer number of fantastic creators participating so be sure to take a stop over and have a look. The event runs from May 1st to May 22nd and consists (I believe) of 174 different vendors each providing 3 event items with 50-100% of the proceeds benefiting the charity Doctors Without Borders.
